The Virus

Made with love for my wife and best friend during the Covid lockdown of 2020 (“The Virus”).

This piece is made of solid American Walnut and Cherry, inside and out, featuring traditional joinery, pinned tenons & dovetail drawers. The top is constructed with breadboard ends with through tenons & wedged pins. A dust panel ensures dust won't be sucked into the dresser when the drawers are opened. The pulls are made of Zebrawood, while the drawers ride on wooden rails & slide like butter.

The back of the dresser is not fiberboard tacked in-place like almost all dressers these days (even high end ones). The back is 9/16" thick cherry wainscot paneling that is as beautiful as the front.

It's beautifully finished inside and out.
