Colorful Colorado No. 1 and No.2

In retrospect, it was inevitable.

Finely crafted of Cherry hardwood with premium stone inlay, these works are an homage to my home state of Colorado. Colorado is a truly magical place that is renown for its raw beauty, as well as the many diverse and colorful landscapes found within the state.

The colorful stone used in these works is 100% natural and is absolutely gorgeous.

I couldn't decide between the two designs shown below, so I made both! Maybe someday there will ne a No. 3!

Colorful Colorado No. 1

Shown below, Colorful Colorado No. 1 includes the "Colorful" tagline in black resin. It measures 36" wide x 10 1/8" tall and 1 1/16" thick. Each letter in Colorado contains a different semi-precious stone inlaid with resin. The stone used in this piece includes Turquoise, Blue Apatite, Agate, Jade, Amethyst, Howlite, Ruby, Quartz, Carnelian and Mother of Pearl.

Colorful Colorado No. 2

Shown below, Colorful Colorado No. 2 drops the "Colorful" tagline, and instead is adorned with the Sun behind the mountains gilded with 24K triple gold leaf. This piece measures 36" wide x 11 3/16" tall and is 1 1/16" thick. The stone used includes Turquoise and Howlite, including Turquoise highlights in the mountains.

I really love the beautiful simplicity of limiting this piece to two types of stone.
