El Diente Especial
This side table is a cross-section of an old growth Walnut from the Oregon Coast, paired with an absolutely gorgeous Ghost Maple base.
I used a three-leg base design with traditional mortise and tenon construction.
As I was preparing to pour resin to stabilize the cross-section slab, my daughter lost her first tooth. So I dropped the tooth into the epoxy pour and that's how the table got its name.
