The Fairest One of All #2

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the "The Fairest One of All?"

Bitcoin.

The original idea was an homage to the Lightning Network, but this quickly became so much more.

This work is a tribute to the Lightning Network, HODLers, miners, diamond hands, oppressed nations, Bitcoin Twitter, and plebs everywhere willing to stand up for their sovereignty.

The work is intended to capture this moment in time and tell a story for future generations.

This piece is finely crafted of African Mahogany with 24K gold leaf. It is #2 of a maximum 5 that will be made of this piece, and the only one that will ever be made of African Mahogany.

Full details are provided below the images shown below.

The Fairest One of All #1 was crafted in American Walnut and can be viewed here.

The Fairest One of All

Made of premium African Mahogany and beautifully carved in Boulder County, Colorado. This is the natural color of the wood (no stain!). Hundreds of hours went into this work. I finished it with a high-end, plant-based, hand-rubbed oil with hardeners for durability. The mirror is high-quality, 1/4" thick, and procured from a specialty glass company.

24K triple gold leaf provides excellent highlights. The piece almost seems electric in low light as the gold leaf reflects the light to your eyes. I love it.

The overall piece is LARGE and will make a bold statement in almost any space.

The back of the piece is engraved with:
1. Satoshi's genesis quote:
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"

2. A credit to @ODELL for the message used on the front of the piece, "Stay Humble. Stack Sats."

Twitter has played an important role for so many Bitcoiners, myself included, and this quote from Odell provides a steady yet powerful voice in a sea of madness.

--------------------------------------

It would be an honor for this piece to land with a fellow pleb, though it would also look very nice at the HQ of Lightning Labs, in the Presidential Office of Nayib Bukele, or Block's boardroom, to name a few.

The finished piece is 31.25 inches wide (79.4 cm) by 40.25 inches tall (102.2 cm) and weighs 20.8 pounds (9.4 kg). It is 1.27 inches thick at the thickest part of the carving (3.2 cm).

This is #2 of a maximum 5 that will be made of this piece.
