Flow

This coffee table features an exceptionally stunning live edge Walnut cross-section from an old growth grove of trees on the Oregon coast. The burl figure in this piece is outstanding.

When designing the base, I aspired to craft something that was worthy of the beautiful Walnut burl top, as well as something that would last for generations.

Multiple unique features make this table truly one of a kind. I especially love the Cherry feet!

This coffee table is made to be a matching piece for El Diente Especial that I made in 2020.

Beautiful Burl

Based

The base on this table is constructed of Ghost Maple with Walnut accents and Cherry feet. The Walnut accent strip flows from the legs, through the spokes and into the center.

The top of the legs contain a Walnut insert for visual interest, while the center hub contains a carved dome (let's call it a dragon egg) that turned out just like I envisioned.

Overall I could not be happier with how this table turned out. It is as functional as it is beautiful, and should last for many generations.

A Matching Piece

The tops of both tables are from the same grove of old growth Walnut trees, and were purchased together in 2019.

The bases are both made of Ghost Maple with Walnut accents, and both are designed with hub and spoke construction. El Diente Especial is a three-legged design, though I was certain I didn't want to do that again!!

If you haven't seen it yet, head on over and check out El Diente Especial.
