Multi-Tasking Stool

In what is sure to be the most highly scrutinized piece I have ever created, this stool is perfectly dimensioned and designed to serve as a laptop table for the bathroom. I have no doubt this stool will face thousands of hours of inspection and scrutiny during its lifespan.

This piece flowed effortlessly from design to completion, which doesn't happen very often. But when it does, it's a great piece.

Made of American Walnut, I was able to incorporate a few features that had been bouncing around in my head for the past couple years. I had been envisioning this leg profile for some time, just waiting for the right project. The top is weaved of Danish cord, and brass pins reinforce the joints. I am very happy with how that turned out.

The stool measures 12.5" deep, 17.75" wide and 20" tall. Perfect for multi-tasking in those wee morning hours.
